16 September 1958 Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard circumstances. Her mother, who was a failing actor and schoolteacher, sold cars while her dad was an automobile salesman. Jennifer was the second child of four, frequently went to theater shows with her mother, and was amazed. Jennifer's parents divorced at the age of five. Jennifer was raised in British Columbia by her mother who moved there with her four siblings. Jennifer was not able to get a good education, despite being an extremely artistic kid. In Canada she was the victim of bullying often. When her passion for theater was fading, she began to participate in theatre plays to help her mom. Her mother inspired all of her kids to develop an appreciation for the arts. After that, she immediately started to act.
